North Castle Street – Listed building conversion

2nd October 2014 By EFJ Admin

29 North Castle Street

Conversion of a listed building

This project involved the conversion of a listed building to a 2 bedroomed house.

  • Role: Main Contractor
  • In-house Trades: Joinerwork, Builderwork, Roughcast, Plasterwork and Ceramic Tiling

The project involved the demolition of an existing rear stair tower and single story extension, then building a new 2 storey extenssion and complete refurbishment of the existing building.

Given the nature of the centre of St Andrews there was limited access and it was a very tight site to work within. The works were completed on time.
